On November 3, 1958 the six airlines filed an agreement with the Civil Aeronautics Board which provided for certain mutual assistance in the event of a strike against one of them. The carriers still operating would make monthly payments of the increased revenues (less added direct expense) to the carrier which was shut down. Minetti, G. Joseph, 1907-

G. Joseph Minetti was born in 1907 and was a New York attorney. From 1947-1953, he served as deputy commissioner of the Department of Marine and Aviation for the City of New York. From 1955-1956 he served on the Federal Maritime Board in Washington, D.C. He was appointed to the Civil Aeronautics Board in 1956 where he served until 1978 when he returned to private practice with Dickstein, Shapiro, and Morin. He died in 1993.
